Friends reunion feat. beach sunset + Queen of Tears

I have come from a fun and busy weekend with my Rich Kid friends club 🤣 Marleni is back, so ofc I was like, let's go to the beach~ But we literally finalized our plan maybe 2 days before? We decided to go to DonArc Beach Resort in Initao— I have been there but way, way back, and it srsly upgraded a lot!

 

And while I messaged the resort on Facebook, I didn't reserve a room because I didn't think the place would be sold out... Like, we could just walk in and get a room. Fortunately, there was 1 room left for 4 pax (exactly us!), so we grabbed that 😄

The room was really, really nice tho~ Big, comfy beds, full airconditioning, smart TV... Aesthetic worth 5K pesos 👌 BUT, yes there are buts that I will detail later.

 

Anyway, our agenda while waiting for the sunset: take photos and TikToks! I've been wanting to do a lot of TikTok dances, but since I don't live in an aesthetic place, I wanted to use this opportunity 😋 We did group ones too ofc— a lot actually.

We also just lazed around while waiting for the sunset. It's been a while seeing sunset skies by the beach, so I was sincerely excited! And my oh my, the view didn't disappoint 🤩

When it became dark, we went back to get dinner~The food took a while after ordering, but to be fair the dishes were not bad. The bulalo did need to be more tender. We also wanted to eat fried chicken, but they only offer whole chicken, which we small eaters can't finish for sure 😅

There was live entertainment by the beach, so we went and hung out there after. We lurked by the bar first and drank cocktails, then joined the dancing fun 🤣

 

I think it helped that our phones were charging, so I could be in the moment. We danced and laughed our hearts out until the show finished at 10PM. I swear, it had been the most uninhibited fun I've had in a while 😆🥹

 

And by that time, we were expecting to wait a bit for Queen of Tears episode 5, but frustratingly, our TV and even phones couldn't connect to the WiFi— no, there was WiFi but with no Internet. We were soooo excited to watch the new ep together that night... The turnout: Tikling and I just watched Get Out (saved in the TV) then called it a night 🙄

 

I rarely wake up early but I did want to go to the beach in the first place, right? So I got up after 6AM, we dipped for a while then on to eat our free breakfast~ Washed up and all... THEN thankfully, our TV connected back online and we could finally watch Queen of Tears! Here's our reaction video:

And this is why I like watching shows with other ppl 😄🥹 I want to react and discuss out loud. And squeal! But yeah, that's hard for us currently, but I'm happy we got to do this once especially for this drama. Just watch the clip above for our OA vs nonchalant reactions 😂

 

Honestly feeling tired right now, and dreading Monday as usual... But my heart is full because of this "reunion" with my friends + pretty sunset skies by the beach + Queen of Tears!
